Meet Our Team

Dr. Steven Deskin

Before relocating to Brantford, Dr. Deskin had been practicing dentistry in the Greater Toronto Area for over nineteen years. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry, he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto. He takes great pride in bringing the highest levels of professionalism, caring and dedication to each and every patient he treats.

On a personal note, Dr. Deskin and his wife, Brenda, are the proud parents of two young boys. Both parents are devoted to the advancement of autism treatment and awareness, having been personally impacted by this neurological disorder.

Recently, the Deskin family decided to make a lifestyle change and move away from their Toronto home to small city living which they are enjoying immensely. The final stage of this transition has been Dr. Deskin's professional relocation to Brantford.

In his spare time, Dr. Deskin enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, skiing and gardening. He is keenly interested in computers and technology, and enjoys applying his knowledge in these areas to the ongoing advancement of his dental practice.

Dr. Bo Kong

Dr. Kong is originally from South Korea and moved to the United States at the age of seventeen for her high school education.  She then attended Queens’ University in Kingston, Ontario for her undergraduate and graduate education. 

She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 2010 and then worked as a general dentist in Brockville, Ontario for a year before enrolling in a residency program at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York (Advanced Education in General Dentistry)  to expand her scope of dentistry and provide more advanced levels of dental treatment to patients.  Dr. Kong provides comprehensive dental treatments to patients and is very happy to see pediatric patients and nervous patients. 

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga, swimming and many other activities with her friends and husband.
