We are a team of dedicated dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and office support staff who pride ourselves on the many long-term relationships we have developed and continue to nurture over the years. Dr. Steven Deskin is a general Dentist who graduated from The University of Western Ontario’s Dental School in 1986. While he takes great pride in offering a wide array of general and cosmetic dentistry procedures and options to his patients, Dr. Deskin is especially passionate about his work within orthodontics. Having been trained and mentored by some of the worlds most highly regarded orthodontists and experts in orthodontics, Dr. Deskin has completed extensive coursework across Canada and the US in both functional orthodontics (using primarily retainer-like appliances) and traditional orthodontics (using wire braces), as well as becoming certified as an Invisalign provider. Dr. Deskin’s ongoing pursuit of advanced education in orthodontics continues to enrich his professional practice and enables him to offer patients an alternate, often less expensive option to an orthodontist.

Dr. Deskin's associate, Dr. Bo Kong, is also a general dentist. She completed a dental residency program at the University of Rochester after graduating from the University of Toronto Dental School in 2010. While Dr. Kong is also a very proficient cosmetic and general dentist, she takes a particularly keen interest in dental surgery, including extractions and particularly, the extraction of wisdom teeth.

Drs. Deskin and Kong enjoy positive collegial relationships with many specialists in the Brantford dental community and will not hesitate to refer their patients to an endodontist (root canal specialist), oral surgeon, orthodontist, or periodontist (gum specialist) for specific procedures or treatments should they feel that a particular case warrants the involvement of a specialist.
